Kiba

Kiba (Zed) is the protagonist of The Sinful Life of The Emperor web novel series. He is a powerful mutant residing in Delta City.


As Kiba, he is infamous for his womanizing nature, especially for his habit of seeking married women much to the annoyance of their husbands.

While as Zed, he lives a fairly ordinary life as a student of Royal Heart Academy.

Appearance

Kiba: He is famous for his extremely handsome and elegant facial features. Blessed with an awe-inspiring body, six-pack abs and powerful shoulders, he is a target of envy for all men.

He is 6 ft tall, with golden hairs that reached his shoulders. The irises of his eyes were a strange combination of blue and gold.

Zed: His appearance is entirely different from Kiba. While just as handsome, he stands at 5'8" with blue irises and black hairs.

Personality

Kiba: He has a great sense of duty when it comes to females, especially married women. He believes it is his responsibility to share his warmth with every beautiful woman out there, regardless of ethnicity or background.

While he appears to be cheerful and easy-going on the outside, his true personality was that of a sadist. He loves to taunt and toy with his enemies before killing them. The more power he uses, the more bloodthirsty he becomes. The nature of his powers makes him feel that humans are ants who don't deserve to exist.

Almost every character who knows Kiba, like to believe he is the most shameless man in existence. 

Zed: He is calm, friendly and respectful; totally opposite of Kiba. 

Background

Zed is the biological child of Rebecca Hestia and her unnamed lover. Born in Solitary Snow Island, Rebecca was forced to left him in the care of a human known as Red Wolf, while she faced the ones who tried to kill her son. 

Red Wold agreed to protect Zed due to Rebecca's promise of money and resources. 

Due to unknown events, Red Wolf believed Rebecca has gone back on her promise, despite him losing his powers while protecting Zed. Angered, Red Wolf took Zed to the slums of Delta City and raised him. 

Red Wolf made Zed beg for alms and used the earned money for alcohol. He would frequently deny Zed food while imparting physical torture. 

Tired and frustrated, Zed murdered Red Wolf while the latter was in a state of intoxication. 

Years later, Zed and hundreds of slum dwellers were forced to join Castor Damon in his expedition to BSE79 meteorite. 

The events in the meteorite have not been explained except for the fact that Zed fused with a supreme treasure, Cosmic Spark. 

The fusion gave him the ability to transform into another form known as Kiba. Now having unimaginable powers, he wish to leave the slum to fulfill his dreams.

A year after the events in the meteorite, Zed 'formally' entered the city while Kiba has already made his entry half-an-year before.

During the one year period, he created an artificial intelligence named Claudia. After his formal entry as Zed, he built Dream Rise House and the underground facilities, including the dangerous Section IV. 

Plot Overview

Volume 1: Pursuit of Dreams

Kiba:

Four years after the events in the slums, Kiba is now a famous playboy and mercenary in Delta City.

He steals a suitcase, containing the Divine Particles, from Sky Fiend Group at the behest of Hank, the chairman of White Angel Corporation. Hank offers him a lucrative deal to strike on Sky Fiend Group but Kiba refuses since his senses warned of danger. This lead to bad blood among Hank and Kiba.

During a party, Kiba meets Felicity, the best friend of Zed. She asks him to have a man to man talk with Zed so that Zed can grow up and become a man who lives for thrills just like Kiba. Having no choice, Kiba agrees to the impossible request.

Later on, he meets Lisa Rey who tries to hypnotize him in order to use him as an experiment specimen. The hypnotism fails badly and much to her shock, she sleeps with the hypnotized Kiba.

A few hours later, Lisa Ray targets Kiba and bring him to the wasteland where her team attacks him. During the battle, Lisa uses a secret weapon of the world government to neutralize Kiba's powers. 

Much to her disbelief, it results in Kiba transforming to Zed. Just as she thought she has everything under her control, Zed summons all his powers and transform into an evolved form of Kiba. The battle ends with the death of Lisa and her comrades, while the world government and other organization notice the phenomenon in the wasteland.

The same day, he carries out the slaughter in the slums to free slum dwellers from the oppression of the overlords. He further provides food and monetary support to a woman whose motherly actions struck a chord with him.

Kiba also learns he is the father of Agatha's unborn child, Hope. He realizes, much to his horror, that it was only he who ordered Claudia to hide the true paternity of Hope. While confused and afraid, he accepts his responsibility as a father after Agatha assures him that he would not be a bad parent.

In the meantime, a mistake by Kiba result in Agatha becoming fodder for SBC News. Enraged, Kiba decides to take revenge on the owners of the news channel: Daniel and Sarah. He orchestrates conflict between the couple in order to seduce Sarah.  

He also ensures that the friends and family of Agatha no longer speak bad things about her by broadcasting a special coverage of Hypocrite News.

During the process, he enters in a short conflict with Olly. The latter is the son of Morgan, an investigator who was sent to the city in order to investigate the phenomenon in the wasteland. 

Kiba treats Olly as a relative after the latter called him as a motherf#cker. To ensure the relationship become true, he helps Suzane as a gym instructor. Olly witnesses the act and almost dies out of heart attack. Olly unwillingly helps Kiba in his romance with Suzane...

Zed:

He forms a friendship with Jessica and helps her become free from the clutches of Irina's gang. Zed further helps her against a teacher named Ryan. 

(Kiba goes to punish Ryan but forgive him when he sees his wife Vienna. His sense of responsibility for women stops him.

The investigators and their families are in the city and this result in the academy removing a few existing students to give accommodation to the children of investigators. 

The new principal - Owain- in his ignorance, remove Zed but to disastrous consequences. Zed is back in the academy the very next day.

Owain then manipulates the children of investigators to remove their hate on Zed for their failed admission. Alas, it results in equally bad consequences for the children of investigators.

As his relationship with Felicity is explored, it is revealed that they think of each other as siblings despite no blood relationship. 

Throughout the volume, Zed recalls memories from his past which made him what he is...including the eternal wisdom Veronica passed him.
