The mutated beasts and plants in the region carry a great value for researchers especially genetic scientists. This is why the region was a popular destination for mutants who wished to become rich.
But the attraction of mutated species was not the only focal point. The main focus for government and other organizations was the core region which offered something far more precious.
The area forming the core region was actually a meteorite. It was not some ordinary meteorite, but in fact, it was one of the thousand meteorites originating from a world which has long ceased to exist.
According to rumors, the meteorite in Desolate Blood Forest has secrets on the deceased world. Not only secrets but it was also home to various minerals and ores, endangered species, and a hub of knowledge.

Ruby: A human trafficker. She along with her two companions fool naive adventurists with Knight in Shining Armor plot. She is ultimately fooled by Kiba who decodes her scheme in a matter of minutes and makes her as his slave.
Fiona: A member of an aristocrat family. After facing Kiba on the fate of a tiger and her two cubs, she forms a deal with him. As per the deal, she would try her best to ensure more people visit the core region. In return, Kiba would help her one time inside the core region.
Sophia: A young member of an aristocrat family. She is seen by Kiba during her bath, and the resulting events make her dislike Kiba. Called pervert by Kiba much to her annoyance. She swear to take revenge on Kiba for this.
Ashyln: A young woman with a mysterious background. She and Kiba explore the forest together while learning about each other. It is revealed she is a Cursed One - someone whom the era of evolution didn't seem worthy.
