The protagonist of the series. His birth lead to a heavenly phenomenon which 'blessed' everyone in the world with violet radiance.
The story so far suggests he is the tenth reincarnation of a strong entity. The laws of the world don't allow him to remember the memories from his previous life.
Lin Li:
Mother of Zhen Han and wife of Zhen Ming.
At the start, she is over protective of her son since afraid he will be in trouble due to his unextraordinary birth. This was the reason why she didn't let him leave the castle in the first three years.
Now she is afraid as well but not for her son. Instead, she is afraid for the world!
The only person in the world who is free of the 'blessing'. The tree removed took away her 'blessing' due to her love for her child. As a compensation, the tree gave her the memories of Blood Witch.
Zhen Ling:
The paternal grandfather of Zhen Han. The son of deceased Skyrise Emperor. Formerly the ruler of Yue State under Skyrise Empire.
Now he is forced to do the bidding of Lin Clan to protect his family from extermination. He has severed ties with the royal clan to save his family.
Lin Xinu:
The patriarch of the Lin clan. He wishes to elevate the clan into the royal clan for which he entered into a treaty with Vermilion Clan.
Shi Xiong:
A father-figure to Lin Li. Survived the events in the capital mainly because the tree wanted him to live for helping Lin Li.
Lin Zhen:
Lin Li's elder brother. Popularly known as 'Blackheart Lin'. He wishes to teach his nephew the great Dao.
Lin Feng:
The maternal grandfather of Zhen Han. Father of Lin Li and Lin Zhen. He is an elder of Lin clan.
Zhen Ming:
Lin Li's husband and Zhen Han's father.
Xin Wugi:
The patriarch of Xin clan. The tree planted a slave seal inside him to make sure he protects Zhen Han's family.
Alchemist Wang:
The highest ranking alchemist in the empire. He has a peculiar habit of collecting different types of specimens.
Blood Witch:
A Dao Ancestor powerhouse who was severely injured a million years ago by Demon Extermination.
She entered a contract with Skyrise Emperor in order to revive herself. The tree killed her for she has malicious intentions towards Zhen Han.
Skyrise Emperor:
One of the strongest known cultivator on the continent. Was killed by the Blood Witch when the Celestial Punishment arrived.
Vermilion Empire:
Vermilion Emperor:
He wishes to absorb Skyrise Empire now that Skyrise Emperor is dead. His follower informs him of Zhen Han's heaven-defying talents so he sets things in motion for marrying his daughter to Zhen Han.
Qin Hue:
The youngest daughter of Vermilion Emperor and his concubine. Extremely talented and beautiful. Her father has set her marriage to Zhen Han.
Qin Auir:
A member of the royal clan of Qin. He is the chief envoy from Vermilion Empire set to negotiate a deal with Lin clan. He witnesses the talent of Zhen Han and informs his emperor.
Wang Shui:
A concubine of Vermilion Emperor. She is the mother of Qin Hue.
